The Listening Tour is something ADOT has never done before. We are reaching deep into local communities across the state to strengthen relationships and work together to develop a shared statewide vision for the future of transportation. We call this “Next Move Arizona."

A statewide vision is important because it:

• Builds a clear destination, avoiding disjointed or disconnected plans.
• Works toward efficiencies in funding, connectivity and a complete transportation system.

We’re starting with listening because we want a transportation system that works for everyone in Arizona.

• We know not all needs are being met, so we’re asking: What’s needed? What’s the vision? Where are we falling short, and where should we aim?
• Not everyone sees the same vision, but by coming together, we can create a shared direction that gets us where we want to go.
